8123 Impact: Random Acts of Kindness

February 17th 2021 is recognized as Random Acts of Kindness Day in the US. Although we don’t need a specific day to practice kindness, it’s a great reminder that even the smallest of actions we take as individuals can have a big impact when we come together as a community.

We felt inspired to celebrate the day, by pledging to commit our own Random Acts of Kindness - and we want to encourage you to as well!

What can you do today to spread kindness? Big or small, every effort counts!

There is a lot going on in the world right now, and sometimes you can feel helpless when realizing the great extent of it. In particular, our thoughts are with everyone in the US experiencing this dangerous winter storm - especially those without power in the frigid temperatures in Texas. We also recognize that marginalized communities have been disproportionately affected by this storm.

Today, on Random Acts of Kindness Day we are asking you - the 8123 Family - to join us in committing to at least one act of kindness. If you’re financially able to donate - there is a need right now from organizations working to provide relief in areas hit by the storm. We’re also still in the midst of a worldwide pandemic, and there are so many different ways we can give back - we’ve included a list with some ideas below!

Not in a position to donate financially? There are still so many other actions you can take to spread kindness! We’ve listed some ideas below.  And remember, no act of kindness is too small.

Share your random act of kindness today to inspire your friends and family to take action - tag us using #8123Impact on social media so we can share!

Stay safe and be kind,

—8123 Impact
